Furzton

Furzton is a residential area with parks and Furzton Lake, one of network of balancing lakes in Milton Keynes (see Pineham). The estate is situated in South West Milton Keynes. Pictured below is an art piece situated on the Island in Furzton Lake called Silhouetted Portals by Wendy Hitchings.

Furzton is named after a number of fields in the area - Furze Ground, Long Furze and Brice's Furze. The themes for the street names are based on Exmoor high points and villages.
