Great Holm and Loughton Lodge

Great Holm is situated in West Milton Keynes. The area is residential with parks and Loughton Lodge Lake (pictured below).
Great Holm takes its name from the land on which it was built. Holm means flat land by river and the name appears on the Loughton map of 1769.The street names of Great Holm are based on Royal residences and stately homes.Loughton Lodge takes its name from a farm east of Bradwell Road in Loughton.
