Stacey Bushes

Bancroft is a residential area situated in North West Milton Keynes. It is home to a Roman Villa and the famous Milton Keynes concrete cows (pictured below).Stacey Bushes is both a residential and employment area in North West Milton Keynes.

Formerly common land, the name Stacey Bushes comes from a combination of an area called Stumpy Bushes and Old Stacey Farm adjacent to Bradwell Brook. The street names of Stacey Bushes are based on trees and shrubs on high and low land.The themes behind the street names of Bancroft derive from Roman forts along Hadrian's Wall and Roman villas. This theme was chosen, as there is a Roman village site at Bancroft.
