A few months ago we asked you to nominate people you thought worthy of winning a huge, life-changing makeover worth up to £20,000, and how you nominated!

It was a tough job narrowing down the entries to our three lucky finalists, who you then voted for your favourite to win! We had a massive number of votes and we can now reveal the winner is Christine Cooper, 46, Shenley Lodge.

Christine Cooper was nominated by her mum, because she believes a makeover is just what Christine needs to brighten up her life.

Christine has suffered on and off with depression and after a rocky few years, where both her parents have battled cancer and she was made redundant, she is now ready to get her life back on track.

She said: “My mum thinks I'm beyond redemption, I don't wear make up or anything like that because I don't have to impress anyone.” Christine feels she doesn't have to impress anyone because she runs her own small business from home, selling reusable nappies, and the rest of the time keeps herself busy with her two kids and husband Chris.

Christine is hoping her new look will give her the confidence to consider returning to the work place, as she was once the IT director of a law firm.
